The origin of Sujatha's Elder Home
Sujatha Elder Home was established as a result of the perseverance
of Dr U. A. Swarna Priyanthi in year 2005.
The elder population in western province of sri lanka was very heights by that time which reported in news papers in Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile Dr U. A. Sujatha Priyanthi when she was a young girl thought
to create an elder home system in sri lanka.
Within few months Dr UA Swarna Priyanthi established an Elder Home
With four elders in Sri Lanka as her first step under the registration number of WR/SSD/ /K/KH2011/08.
Later on Sujatha Elder Home was registered under the department of social services in western province of Sri Lanka with the registration number of PN/SS/11/74 in year 2013.
By 2023 year there are more than ten elder homes under the brand of SUJATHA ELDER HOMES in Sri Lanka including more than 400 homeless elder peoples. Elders of Sri Lanka belive that she has done her bounden duty and due respect to elders .
